The Power of Red Bull brand at the Austrian GP ๐ฆ๐น๐
We attended the 2023 Austrian Grand Prix at the Red Bull Ring this weekend. The organization was excellent, with over 100k+ people attending.
Still, there are a few elements that caught our attention. It reminded us of the incredible impact of branding. It shows how powerful it is to nurture a brand that resonates with the audience.
First, the Red Bull Ring showcased the immense brand power of Red Bull. Even though it's not their official home base in Milton Keynes.
Secondly, the personal appeal of Max Verstappen was tangible. It adds an extra layer to RB's brand.
With fans (mostly Dutch) stylized as "Orange Army," it's clear that he's not only a racing superstar. But a major personal brand and massive revenue source for RB. ๐๐
Combining these two shows the success of such an approach. It's also evidence of Red Bull's branding prowess.
Finding someone without some Red Bull symbol (t-shirt, hat, backpack) was almost impossible. Fans proudly donned Red Bull and Verstappen merchandise. Even fans of other teams were waving Red Bull flags (displaying the Austrian flag but still branded) while enjoying The Flying Bulls airshow. โ๏ธ๐ฉ
With 400+ million fans, F1 has established itself as the pinnacle of motorsport. It's also a global phenomenon. It encompasses a rich heritage, cutting-edge technology, skill, strategy, and speed blend. ๐๐๏ธ
Overall, we all know that F1 and Red Bull are massive branding machines. Seeing it firsthand at an event like this was something else. ๐คฉ
